If you've posted content and want to increase the viewership and interaction on the post - Promoting is the best way to do that! Promoting helps push a specific piece of content higher up in the algorithm for people who want to see that video (based off of their algorithm settings). 

 

What is Promoting?

Promoting gives your post extra views. It tells the algorithm, “Hey, this post deserves a little more time in algorithmic orbit.”

During an active Promotion, the post stays active in its organic feeds and won’t fade into obscurity prematurely. The Promotion ensures that the content is shown to an additional group of users who are likely to watch the content based on their algorithm settings.

 

Promotion Duration and Cost

Promoting a post does not have a set time expiration. While Boosting comes with a set time to push a post, a Promotion only expires after it's been sent to the specific number of users that were purchased. There are currently three tiers for Promotions.

800 Views - $6.99 

2,000 Views - $4.99

 

 

What Promoting Doesn’t Do

Just like Boosting, Promoting is not a "magic fame machine" - if your Promoted content offers a value to the intended audience, it's more likely it will be interacted with. Other social media apps may offer visibility which include guaranteed likes, there is plenty of uncertainty of the source of those likes. We want to assure you that Neptune's users (who are human, no bots here!) are interacting when they vibe with the content they see. We can't force humans to like content, we've tried!

 If your content is reaching your niche and the fans love what they see and hear, you'll get likes and comments.

 

So just to recap: 

• Promoting does not guarantee likes, comments, or virality.
• It will not force a Promoted post onto people who are not the intended audience
• It’s not a shortcut to fame for the creator you boost, but rather a tool to give a video you love a longer window to be discovered.
• We don’t play fake numbers here, so the content still has to resonate. A Promotion will just help to make sure it doesn’t get buried before it has a chance.

 

How Do I Promote a Post?

It’s super simple:

1. View the specific video you want to Promote

2. Click the post menu in the bottom right corner.

3. Select Promote This Post

3. Choose an amount of views

4. Confirm the purchase via Apple Checkout.

5. Watch the post continue to shine in the algorithm!
