Neptune does not tolerate hate speech. We do not allow content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on any of the following protected attributes:
- Age
- Caste
- Disability
- Ethnicity
- Gender Identity and Expression
- Nationality
- Race
- Immigration Status
- Religion
- Sex/Gender
- Sexual Orientation
- Victims of major violent events and their families
- Veteran Status
If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it immediately. If you find multiple videos or comments that you believe violate this policy, you may report the account.
If You're Posting Content
Do not post content on Neptune if its primary purpose is to:

Encourage violence against individuals or groups based on their protected attributes. This includes:
- Direct threats
- Implied calls for violence
- Inciting others to commit violence
- Incite hatred against individuals or groups based on their protected attributes.
Other Prohibited Content
In addition to direct hate speech, Neptune prohibits the following:

Content that encourages abusive behavior:
- Encouraging your audience to target or harass individuals or groups with protected attributes.

Persistent targeting and abuse:
- Repeated uploads that insult, dehumanize, or abuse a group based on their protected attributes.

Exposing groups to harm:
- Content that places individuals or groups with protected attributes at risk of physical harm based on the local or social context.

Hostility for personal gain:
- Content persistently inciting hostility toward protected groups for financial gain or audience growth.
Educational, Documentary, Scientific, or Artistic Content (EDSA)
We recognize that certain content may address hate speech in an educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic (EDSA) context. However, this context must be clear within the content itself (e.g., video, audio, or images). Providing context solely in the title, description, or tags is insufficient.

Examples of Hate Speech Prohibited on Neptune
- Statements condoning violence, such as:
- “They deserved what happened to them because they’re [protected group attribute].”
- Dehumanizing language, such as:
- “[Protected group attribute] are like animals.”
- Encouraging others to harm a group, such as:
- “Someone should take care of these [slur targeting a protected group].”
These examples are not exhaustive. If you suspect your content may violate this policy, do not post it.
What Happens If Content Violates This Policy
If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
Additional Actions
Content that comes close to hate speech or violates the spirit of this policy may face limited visibility or other restrictions on Neptune’s features.

If you encounter hate speech or feel unsafe due to threats, please take the following steps:
- Report the content: Use Neptune’s reporting tools to flag content or accounts.
- Contact law enforcement: If specific threats are made against you or others, and you feel unsafe, notify your local authorities.
