Neptune is committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for all users. We do not tolerate content that targets individuals with prolonged insults, slurs, or other harmful behaviors based on their physical traits, intrinsic attributes, or membership in a protected group, such as age, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or race. Additionally, we prohibit threats, doxing, and other malicious activities. Content targeting minors will be held to an even stricter standard. If you find content that violates this policy, report it. If specific threats are made against you and you feel unsafe, contact your local law enforcement agency immediately.
What This Policy Means for You
If You’re Posting Content:
Do not post content on Neptune if it contains any of the following:
-
Prolonged insults or slurs: Targeting someone’s physical attributes, protected group status, or experience as a survivor of abuse (e.g., sexual assault, non-consensual intimate imagery, domestic or child abuse).
-
Harassment of minors: Content aimed at shaming, insulting, or deceiving minors with the intent to cause emotional distress, harm, or humiliation. A minor is defined as anyone under 18.
-
Threats or harmful language: Explicit threats of violence, implied threats (e.g., brandishing weapons while issuing warnings), or encouraging harm toward someone.
-
Revealing personal information: Sharing someone’s non-public personal information (e.g., phone number, home address, email) to incite harassment or abuse.
-
Encouraging abuse: Directing users to harass, bully, or leave abusive comments on another creator's content.
-
Hate speech: Using slurs or language intended to incite hatred or violence against an individual or group.
-
Doxing and stalking: Revealing someone’s location, tracking them, or using intimidation tactics to cause harm.
This policy applies to videos, comments, live streams, audio, external links, and any other feature on Neptune.
Exceptions
Certain content may be allowed if it is clearly educational, documentary, artistic, or scientific in nature and is not intended to harass or harm others. Examples include:
-
Debates involving public figures: Discussions about individuals in positions of power (e.g., high-profile government officials or CEOs) in the context of public interest.
-
Artistic expression: Scripted performances like satire, comedy, or music (e.g., diss tracks). This exception does not allow content designed to harass others under the guise of humor maliciously.
-
Educational or awareness content: Documentaries or dramatizations that include harassment-related themes to raise awareness about cyberbullying or abuse.
We take a stricter approach to content that maliciously insults or harms someone based on their protected group status, regardless of the context.
Creators who repeatedly violate this policy or encourage harmful behavior may face additional penalties, such as:
-
Losing monetization privileges.
-
Account suspension or termination.
-
Removal of related channels or content.
