What This Policy Means for You
If You’re Posting Content
Please do not post links on Neptune that direct users to content violating our Community Guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, links that meet the following descriptions:

Links directly to pornography.

Links to websites or apps that install malware or unwanted software.

Links to websites or apps phishing for a user’s login credentials, financial information, or other sensitive data.
-
Links to websites, apps, or other sources that provide unauthorized access to paid audio content, audiovisual content, video games, software, or streaming services.
-
Links to websites raising funds or recruiting for terrorist organizations.
-
Links to sites containing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
-
Links to sites selling items prohibited under our regulated goods guidelines.
-
Links to content violating our hate or harassment policies.
-
Links to content encouraging others to commit violent acts.
-
Links to content spreading medical misinformation contradicting local health authorities (LHA) or the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding COVID-19 or other pandemic-labelled events.

Links to websites or apps spreading misleading or deceptive content that causes serious risk of harm, such as interfering with democratic processes.

Links to external sites containing manifestos of or for violent attackers.
This policy applies to posts, audio, video descriptions, comments, pinned comments, live streams, and any other Neptune product or feature. Links can take various forms, such as clickable URLs, text displayed as URLs in images or videos, and obfuscated URLs (e.g., writing “dot com” instead of “.com”). Verbal directions to off-platform content that violates these policies are also prohibited. This list is not exhaustive.

Examples of Violations
Here are some examples of content that violates Neptune’s External Links Policy:

A post or video with a description like “Click here to see what Neptune won’t allow!” containing a link to a pornographic site.

A description in a gameplay video linking to a site promising in-game currency but instead installing malware.

Posting a link to a phishing site that steals users’ personal or financial information.

Instructing viewers to copy and paste a text link to a site hosting prohibited or spam-related content.

Any link to a website, file hosting service, or other source enabling access to or downloads of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

Verbally directing viewers to an external site to view content that violates Neptune’s Community Guidelines.

Embedding a URL in a post or video that misleads voters about election details like time, location, or eligibility requirements.

A link to an article falsely claiming that COVID-19 vaccines are part of a depopulation agenda.

What Happens If Content Violates This Policy
If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
