Neptune is committed to ensuring minors' emotional and physical well-being in our community. A minor is defined as anyone under 18 years of age. Content that endangers minors, exposes them to inappropriate or harmful situations, or exploits them in any way is strictly prohibited.
If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it immediately. Contact your local law enforcement agency if you believe a child is in immediate danger.
Prohibited Accounts and Content
- No Parent-Managed Accounts: Accounts solely managed on behalf of minors are not allowed on Neptune.
- Family Accounts: Family accounts must include adults as central participants and must not focus primarily on minors.
Content Guidelines for Minors
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Sexualization or exploitation of minors
- Sexually explicit content involving minors
- Objectification or inappropriate focus on minors
- Minor nudity, even in comedic or artistic context
- Any child sexual abuse imagery (CSAM), which will be reported to NCMEC
Harmful or Dangerous Acts Involving Minors
- Consumption of substances (alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, etc.)
- Misuse of fireworks or weapons
- Unsupervised use of firearms
- Participation in harmful stunts, challenges, or dares
- Content depicting abuse or distress
- Exposing minors to mature or disturbing themes
Misleading Family Content
- Content labeled as family-friendly that includes mature themes, violence, or horror
- Content that does not reflect the stated age-appropriate audience
Cyberbullying and Harassment Involving Minors
- Insults or shaming targeted at minors
- Revealing personal information about minors
- Encouraging bullying or harassment
Examples of Violations
- Sexually suggestive activities involving minors
- Minors using weapons or substances
- Sharing personal info of minors to encourage harassment
- Any behavior that violates this policy, even if not listed here
Best Practices for Family Content
- Feature adults prominently alongside minors
- Avoid costumes or themes that may be misunderstood
- Moderate comments to protect against predators
Reporting and Legal Compliance
- Immediate Action: Content or accounts involving child exploitation will be banned and reported
- Proactive Monitoring: Flagged content will be reviewed by moderators
- Legal Reporting: CSAM will be reported to law enforcement and NCMEC
What Happens If Content Violates This Policy
If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
Severe Violations
- Immediate termination for exploitation or abuse of minors
- CSAM or suspected exploitation will be reported to authorities immediately.
