Spam, Scams, and Deceptive Practices Policy

Neptune does not allow spam, scams, or deceptive practices that exploit our community. We also prohibit content designed to mislead or trick others into leaving Neptune for another site. If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it. Instructions for reporting violations of our Community Guidelines can be found here. If you need to report multiple pieces of content from one user, report the account instead.

What These Policies Mean for You

If You’re Posting Content

Do not post content on Neptune that fits any of the following descriptions:

  • Content Spam: Content that is excessively posted, repetitive, or untargeted, including but not limited to:

    • Promising viewers something but instead directing them off Neptune.

    • Generating clicks, views, or traffic off Neptune by promising fast financial gain.

    • Sending users to websites that spread harmful software, collect personal data, or otherwise cause harm.

  • Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails: Using titles, thumbnails, or descriptions to deceive viewers into believing the content is something it is not. This includes titles, thumbnails, or descriptions implying the inclusion of content that does not appear in the actual post or video.

  • Scams: Content offering cash gifts, “get rich quick” schemes, or pyramid schemes (e.g., sending money without receiving a tangible product in return).

  • Engagement Spam: Content designed to artificially boost engagement metrics, such as views, likes, or followers. This includes:

    • Selling engagement metrics.

    • Offering to follow, like, or subscribe to others solely in exchange for reciprocal engagement ("Sub4Sub" or similar activities).

  • Comment Spam: Comments designed to:

    • Gather personal information from viewers.

    • Mislead users or drive them off Neptune to prohibited sites.

    • Contain identical, un-targeted, or repetitive content in large volumes.

  • Unauthorized Third-Party Content: Live streams containing unauthorized third-party content that remain uncorrected after repeated warnings. Account owners must actively monitor live streams and address potential issues promptly.

This policy applies to posts, descriptions, comments, live streams, and any other feature or product on Neptune. It also extends to external links in your content, such as clickable URLs or verbal instructions directing users to off-platform sites.

What Happens If Content Violates This Policy

If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
