Neptune allows the use of vulgar language, as long as it does not include slurs, hate speech, or language designed to incite violence or discrimination. Content featuring explicit language or profanity must be appropriately tagged as 18+ to help ensure it is only accessible to users of the appropriate age. If You’re Posting Content

Content that violates our Language Policy may result in content removal, age restriction, or account penalties. The following factors may be considered when determining if content should be restricted or removed, including:

• Use of sexually explicit language or narratives.
• Use of excessive profanity or vulgar language.
• Use of vulgar or sexually suggestive language in titles, thumbnails, or metadata.
• Use of gratuitous sexual sounds or suggestive audio.
• Any language or content designed to promote hate, violence, or discrimination.
• All content containing vulgar language, profanity, or explicit language must be tagged as 18+.

Allowed Content

Neptune allows the use of vulgar language when it serves a legitimate purpose, such as:

• Artistic Expression: For example, music, poetry, or other creative works that contain profanity.
• Educational, Documentary, or Scientific Content: For example, discussions of cultural or historical significance of language.

Providing context in the content itself, as well as in the title and description, helps Neptune and viewers understand the intent of your content. Gratuitous or excessive use of vulgar language without purpose or context may lead to age restriction or content removal.

The following are not allowed on Neptune:

• Content that incites violence, harassment, or discrimination.
• Content featuring sexually explicit or excessively vulgar language that is not tagged as 18+.

Enforcement and Safeguards

Age Verification: While not all Neptune users are age-verified, we rely on tagging and reporting mechanisms to protect users from inappropriate content. Creators are responsible for tagging their content appropriately as 18+ where required.

Moderation: Neptune enforces these policies using a combination of automated systems and community reporting. Any flagged content will be reviewed to determine whether it complies with our guidelines.

What Happens If Content Violates This Policy

If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
