Neptune is a platform for users aged 17 and older. We strive to balance creative expression and education with maintaining a safe, respectful community. While explicit content meant for sexual gratification is not allowed, we permit nudity for creative expression (in art) and discussions of sexual content for creative, educational, or discussion purposes when appropriately tagged as 18+.
What Is and Isn’t Allowed
Allowed Content (Tagged as 18+)
- Nudity for Creative Expression: Includes artistic or non-explicit content such as figure drawing, photography, or film.
- Educational Sexual Content: Includes discussions and education around sexual health, relationships, and consent.
- Sex Toy Discussions: Non-explicit conversations about sex toys or their use are allowed but must be tagged 18+. Displaying or selling sex toys is prohibited to comply with app store guidelines.
- Off-Platform Promotions: Creators may promote off-platform explicit content (e.g., OnlyFans) if the promotional content itself is not explicit and is tagged 18+.
Prohibited Content
- Pornography: Any content depicting explicit sexual acts or behavior meant for sexual gratification.
- Fetish Content: Content focused on fetish acts that are violent, graphic, humiliating, or meant for sexual gratification.
- Non-Consensual Depictions: Includes voyeurism, up skirting, groping, or any depiction of sexualized behavior without consent.
- Sexual Exploitation of Minors: Any content involving minors in sexual situations will result in immediate account termination and be reported to law enforcement.
Examples of Violative Content
- Clips from non-pornographic media edited to isolate explicit sexual content for sexual gratification.
- Content depicting or simulating explicit sexual acts or behaviors intended to arouse.
- Depictions of sex toys.
- Groping, voyeurism, or exhibitionism that is intended to sexualize individuals without their consent.
These examples are not exhaustive. If you suspect your content might violate this policy, do not post it.
What Happens If Content Violates This Policy
If your content breaches this policy, it will be removed, and you will receive a notification of action taken. Additionally, if we are unable to verify the safety of any content you have posted, it may also be subject to removal. Any content that violates our guidelines, whether included in posts or metadata, may lead to the removal of that content and any related media.
Severe Violations
Content involving sexual exploitation of minors or predatory behavior will result in immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate authorities. Neptune has zero tolerance for these violations.
